Who We Are

Communicating Arts Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Our mission is to make available quality financial services at a reasonable cost to our members so as to provide for their financial needs, while insuring the long-term financial stability of the Credit Union.

A credit union is a financial cooperative, owned by its members and operated under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is elected from and by the members.

Each member has one vote. The cooperative exists to provide services for its members not to make a profit for outside shareholders.

Communicating Arts Credit Union provides savings, loans, and other consumer financial services to its member/owners.

Started in 1940 by employees of The Cincinnati Post, membership now includes employees of more than 100 sponsor companies.

Anyone engaged in Printing, Publishing, Broadcasting, Advertising, Graphic Art, Design, Music, Fine Art, Visual Art, Photography, or Performance Art, may become a member/owner.  Relatives of members, or potential members, are also qualified to join.

 

Communicating Arts Credit Union is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, 1717 Western Ave, at the corner of Findlay St. just off I-75; one block east of the Main Post Office on Dalton; 3 blocks north of the Museum Center.

Our office is open Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
